Hello List,

This is what I did:
* alter database backup controlfile to trace
* shutdown oracle on ServerA and tar everything under /oracle to a tape
* on ServerB, untar the tape to /oracle
* startup nomount and recreate controlfile

Here is the error:

SQL> @/scripts/control.sql

Control file created.

SQL> alter database open resetlogs;
alter database open resetlogs
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01152 (See ORA-01152.ora-code.com): file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
ORA-01110 (See ORA-01110.ora-code.com): data file 1: '/oracle/DV1/sapdata1/system_1/system.data1'

Did I do anything wrong? What could be the fix?
